A heartbreaking story shared on Facebook that has sparked widespread debate confirms the tragic death of a young teacher from Ashaiman, Washington, in Accra.

The tragic account which was first posted on Facebook by a user identified as Edo Baba has since generated significant public reaction, amassing over 1,000 likes and more than 500 comments at the time of publication.

According to the post, the young man, whose name has been withheld due to obvious reasons took out a loan to establish a cosmetic shop for his girlfriend as part of efforts to financially support her.

After some time, he secured another loan to sponsor her relocation to Canada in pursuit of better opportunities.

However, before her departure when she refused to hand over the keys to the cosmetic shop to him and gave them to her mother instead.

The situation is said to have worsened after she arrived in Canada and subsequently ended the relationship.

The emotional toll of the breakup, coupled with the financial burden of the loans left the young man devastated.

According to the account shared online, he was unable to cope with the heartbreak hence he decided to end it all himself.
