The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West constituency of Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II says Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has demonstrated clear vision to move Ghana forward and benefit the youth.

Speaking during a campaign visit by Dr. Bawumia in Jinijini last night, Nana Baffour Tutu II described Bawumia as an “emerging star” whose vision aligns with the direction of the world.

“To the youth of Ghana, I say your emerging star is here. He is Bawumia, the digital man…The whole world is going digital, so I want to urge you that on December 7, let us all vote for Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to move our country forward”, the Chief said.

The Chief also commended the New Patriotic Party for its remarkable development in the community since the area was elevated to district 7 years ago.

“We asked the NPP government of President Akufo-Addo to grant us district and that has been duly done…Since then, the level of development we have received here is unimaginable. The level of development we have had in seven years, some districts which have been in existence for about 40 years don’t even have”, he recounted.

Further complimenting the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, the Chief singled out projects like the ongoing construction of a hospital which is part of the government’s “Agenda 111” and a District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) equipment given to the community and all districts in the country.

Dr. Bawumia, on his part, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chiefs and people of the community for their massive show of love and support.

Dr. Bawumia shared his policies to improve the living conditions of the residents and Ghanaians at large to the excitement of the gathering.

He urged the people of Berekum West to vote for him stressing he has clearly demonstrated his vision to transform the country unlike his opponent, John Mahama, who has had the chance to be President but failed to live up to expectations.
