Lawyer Mrs. Gloria Poku-Adusei, wife of Ralph Poku-Adusei, the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Bekwai Constituency and CEO of the GPA Foundation, has once again reaffirmed her commitment to community service with a series of charitable activities.
These efforts included the donation of six packets of roofing sheets, four boxes of streetlights, and a cash contribution of GHS 1,000 to the Denyase Industrial area.
The materials will help re-roof a leaking public toilet and improve nighttime visibility in the area.
Additionally, Mrs. Poku-Adusei presented GHS 1,000 to two physically challenged individuals who had benefitted from her husband’s skills training program.
This financial support is intended to help them start businesses using the skills they have learned.
It would be recalled that in August 2024, in commemoration of her birthday, Mrs. Poku-Adusei spearheaded multiple humanitarian initiatives across the Bekwai Constituency.
She also hosted a party for the children and staff of Save Our Souls Orphanage.
The event featured food, drinks, cake, and party favors, with a special presentation of sanitary pads for adolescent girls at the orphanage.
This marked her second donation to the facility in just one month.
Her most recent contributions to the orphanage included:
• Two jumbo-sized dustbins
• Three gallons of palm oil
• Bags of gari and sugar
• Educational supplies such as exercise books, pencils, pens, and more
Mrs. Poku-Adusei also visited Sebedie Ahmadiya Primary School, where she donated:
• A set of football jerseys
• A football
• Various educational materials
Both institutions expressed deep gratitude for the continued generosity from Mrs. Poku-Adusei and her husband.
A spokesperson for the institutions remarked, “We pray for divine protection, business success, and electoral victory for Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei and the NPP in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.”
Gloria Poku-Adusei’s charitable work continues to leave a positive impact on the Bekwai Constituency, embodying her dedication to uplifting the community.
