Belgium-born winger of Ghanaian descent, Jesse Bisiwu, has expressed appreciation to his Barcelona teammates for what he describes as a wonderful welcome.The teenager was officially unveiled as a new Barcelona player on Tuesday, August 4, having signed to join the club on July 31.Speaking on his move to the Spanish La Liga giants, Jesse Bisiwu said he is delighted to begin a new chapter of his career in Spain.”My first days have been wonderful. I have been welcomed by a wonderful family, and Im very grateful for that.”They gave me a very warm welcome; everyone is very friendly, and I am very grateful, the talented winger said.He continued, “Being here and seeing it for myself is a different feeling. I am very happy to be here.”The right-footed left winger arrives in Barcelona after playing in Belgiums Challenger Pro League for Club NXT.He made 36 appearances in the competition, scoring twice and providing two assists. Bisiwu also featured 14 times in the UEFA Youth League, where he scored three goals and registered one assist.The teenager spent three seasons with Club NXT after joining from Club Brugges youth set-up in July 2023. His move to Club Brugge came three years earlier from OH Leuvens academy on a free transfer.Bisiwus arrival adds a young wide player to the Barca Atletic squad, with the teenager bringing experience of both senior domestic football and European youth competition despite his age.
