Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has expressed his gratitude after paying a courtesy visit to the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams.
The Hearts of Oak shot-stopper shared his appreciation after meeting the Minister, describing the occasion as a special moment.
“It was an honour to pay a courtesy visit to Hon. Kofi Adams, Minister for Sports and Recreation, to express my sincere appreciation,” Asare said.
The 33-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable period in his career, cementing his place in the Black Stars squad and representing Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He featured in all three of Ghana’s group-stage matches at the tournament, keeping back-to-back clean sheets as the Black Stars reached the knockout stage for the first time since 2010.
Asare’s comments underline his appreciation for the support he has received as he continues to establish himself as one of Ghana’s leading goalkeepers.
