Berekum Chelsea have announced the signing of prolific forward Diawisie Taylor ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.The former Karela United and Medeama SC striker signed a deal to join the Blues for the upcoming campaign.”We’re excited to share that Diawisie Taylor, the striker, has signed on with the Biribies permanently. The 26-year-old is a familiar name to Ghana Premier League fans, having won the top scorer award in the 2020-21 season with 18 goals in 31 appearances for Karela United.He also previously had a brief stint with Medeama SC, joining in January 2024, but his move to Berekum Chelsea marks a homecoming of sorts.The deal is a statement of intent from Berekum Chelsea as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season. Taylor’s proven goal-scoring record in the Ghanaian top flight, where he has scored 23 goals in 52 appearances, will be a major boost .
