The final funeral rites of late Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Beverly Afaglo Baah, will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
The funeral service, scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., will bring together family members, friends, colleagues from the entertainment industry and loved ones to bid farewell to the celebrated actress.
As part of the ceremony, a memorial service will be held at the venue, where mourners will have the opportunity to file past her remains, read tributes and pay their final respects to the late screen icon. Following the funeral service, Beverly Afaglo will be laid to rest in a private burial ceremony.
A thanksgiving service will subsequently be held on Sunday, August 9, at Action Chapel International in Tema at 9:00 a.m., where family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers will gather to thank God as well as celebrate her life and legacy.
Beverly Afaglo passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42, just four days before her 43rd birthday, after a battle with cancer for two years.

Her death came as a shock to many, as the actress had remained active and appeared full of life at public events and on social media in the months leading up to her passing.
The news of her death triggered an outpouring of grief from fans, colleagues and members of Ghana’s creative arts industry, who continue to remember her for her contributions to film and her vibrant personality.
As an actress, Beverly Afaglo starred in several Ghanaian movies and television productions, including Single Six, A Northern Affair, The Game, Return of Beyonce, Crime to Christ, Girls Connection and Never Again, among others.
Beyond her acting career, Beverly Afaglo was also an entrepreneur. She ventured into the food business and founded Traffic Shawarma, which grew into a popular brand with several branches and became one of her major business interests outside the creative arts.
Beverly Afaglo Baah is survived by her husband, musician Choirmaster, their daughters, mother, siblings and other family members.
