Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month on himself, excluding expenses related to his family, luxury items and other purchases.
The 30BG label boss shared the details during a livestream conversation with Nigerian streamer Davrel, explaining that his spending habits vary depending on his location. Davido said he spends less when he is in the United States, where he enjoys a quieter lifestyle with his wife and children.
“When I’m in Yankee, I spend less because I live with just my wife and kids,” he said. However, the singer explained that his expenses increase when he is travelling and away from his family due to his busy schedule and social activities.

“Normally, 500k, 200k, 300k, minus buying jewellery or a car,” Davido said, adding that the figure does not include household expenses or other major purchases. The singer recently also spoke about his career, saying one of his biggest fears is knowing when to step away from music before affecting his legacy, using football star Cristiano Ronaldo as an example of how even global icons can face criticism later in their careers.
