The Black Stars have arrived in Rhode Island, United States, as preparations continue to intensify ahead of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

The Ghana delegation touched down in the northeastern state of the USA looking sharp and confident as the team begins the next phase of its pre-tournament programme.

The arrival in Rhode Island comes after Ghana completed an intensive training period in Cardiff, where they used the Dragon Park facility and tested their readiness with a 1-1 friendly draw against Wales.

The Black Stars later moved to the United States for the final stretch of preparations, with the squad focused on building the right mentality and tactical discipline ahead of the global showpiece under head coach Carlos Queiroz.

The team was scheduled to play Honduras in a preparatory friendly, but the fixture was called off, leaving Ghana unlikely to feature in another game before the start of the tournament.

Ghana will now continue their preparations in the USA before travelling to Canada for their opening Group L fixture against Panama on June 17 at BMO Field in Toronto.

The Black Stars are making their fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup and have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.

After the opening game against Panama, Ghana will face England at Gillette Stadium on June 23 before concluding the group stage against Croatia on June 27 as they aim to secure a place in the knockout stage.
