Nine players of Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, have officially opened camp in Wales as preparations begin under newly appointed head coach Carlos Queiroz.
The early arrivals trained on the pitch on the first day of camp, marking the start of a new era for the four-time African champions under the experienced Portuguese tactician.
Among the players present were captain Jordan Ayew, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Gideon Mensah, Jerome Opoku, Marvin Senaya, and Alidu Seidu.
The camp forms part of Ghana’s preparations for upcoming international assignments, with Queiroz expected to begin implementing his philosophy and assessing the squad ahead of competitive fixtures.
The arrival of the first batch of players signals the beginning of what many supporters hope will be a successful transition period for the Black Stars as they seek improvement on the international stage.
More players are expected to join camp in the coming days.
