The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison, has expressed concern over the practice of individuals keeping large volumes of foreign currencies in their homes.
Speaking at the 113th Monetary Policy Committee meeting in Accra, on keeping more than one million dollars in the house by the Immediate Past Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources Madam Cecilia Dapaah, Dr. Addison said it’s a worrying development, but it is a matter in Court so there is not much to say about it.
”It is worrying, but the matter is in Court”, the Governor noted.
