
Yussif Chibsah believes he is capable of leading Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko as the Chief Executive Officer of the club.The position became vacant following the end of the Nana Apinkrah-led interim management committee.The Porcupine Warriors are in a hunt for a new leadership, with the former captain of the club tipped as one of the favourites to take over.Chibsah, who currently works with the Professional Players Association of Ghana, led an entourage to the funeral of late Aduana Stars midfielder Dominic Frimpong, where he responded to questions about the CEO’s role.”If they give me the role, I will take it. Im capable of becoming the CEO of Asante Kotoko, he said in a video posted on social media.The former Ghana international enjoyed a good spell with the Reds during his career in the Ghana Premier League, helping the Kumasi-based side to the final of the inaugural CAF Confederation Cup final.He moved abroad in 2006, spending most of his time in Sweden where he played for the likes of GEFLE, Djurgardens IF and GAIS.
