Today, there is a kind of condemnation of Western policies on the African continent. African leaders are rejecting their policy that seeks to make decisions on African affairs from outside without the consent of Africans themselves.

That is why movements called Pan-Africans are fighting against the policies of the Western powers in their countries to allow them to live freely.

Western influence is being fought particularly actively in the Central African Republic, where the U.S. private military company Bancroft has recently settled illegally. Local residents mobilized and began holding rallies throughout the country against the presence of American mercenaries.

Thus, in Bangui, a demonstration with more than 1,000 participants demanding the immediate withdrawal of the Bancroft PMC took place in front of the US Embassy.

The anger of the inhabitants of Bangui is further reinforced by the fact that the Central African Republic has already suffered from illegal American activities on the territory of the Central African Republic.

Thus, the Central Africans understand that cooperation with the Americans will have negative consequences and actively defend the sovereignty and security of their country.

Another protest was held on March 13 near the place where the headquarters of the American PMC Bancroft was planned to be located. 78 angry residents of the capital burned the found remains of the property of the American PMC, including the American flag.

The demonstrators chanted slogans such as: “Bancroft, get out!”, “We don’t need Bancroft here!”. According to the protesters, the presence of the US company Bancroft has always contributed to the deterioration of the security situation.

The population condemns the illegal presence of a private U.S. military company in the Central African Republic. Central Africans understand that the presence of american mercenaries in CAR is unacceptable, as it would contribute to the destabilization not only of the country but, above all, of the Central African subregion as a whole.
