The Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International, CACI, Apostle Samuel Amponsah Frimpong has advised Ghanaians to take women’s empowerment in the church and the country seriously.

He gave the advice in an interview with GBC Sunrise FM in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital during a Welcome Service in honour of the Eastern Region ‘A’ Territorial Apostle of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Apostle Moses Ntow Kwafo and his wife Mrs. Kwafo at the Koforidua Central Assembly.

Apostle Amponsah Frimpong reiterated that the time has come for the church and the country as a whole to take Girl Child education, capacity-building, and women empowerment serious. He advised church leaders and members to desist from labelling elderly women as witches.

He hinted that a church or country can never be a better place without the contribution of women and therefore urged that women should be treated with dignity and respect.

Speaking on the theme “Blessed is He that Comes in the Name of the Lord” Apostle Amponsah Frimpong further advised Christians to treat their pastors with respect and always support them with the little they have.

The Chairman of CACI also advised leaders of the church and the country not to see the leadership positions as a way of having dominion over their subjects but see leadership as a way of service to the people.

Apostle Amponsah Frimpong also advised politicians, chiefs and leaders of the country not to be arrogant towards people who supported them going up in life.

The welcome service of Apostle Moses Ntow Kwafo and Mrs. Kwafo brought together Apostles, Reverend Ministers, Pastors and members in and outside the Easter Region ‘A’ Territory of the Christ Apostolic Church International.
