Chelsea have secured the signing of promising Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson on an impressive eight-year contract from Villarreal.
The 21-year-old striker, who had an impressive season with the La Liga side, scoring 13 goals in 38 appearances, including nine goals in the final eight league games, caught the attention of the Blues’ management.
Jackson becomes Chelsea’s second signing of the summer, following the £52 million deal for French striker Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.
The club’s co-sporting directors, Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, expressed their excitement about the new addition, highlighting the player’s potential.
