Berekum Chelsea produced a dominant performance to beat reigning Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko 3-0 at Golden City Park on Friday afternoon.
The Bibires, without their top goal scorer Mezack Afriyie, were inspired by the impressive Kalo Ouatarra, who scored a second-half brace to secure the win.
Collins Ameyaw provided the assists for both goals as Ouatarra headed in from two excellent crosses. Substitute Patrick Kofi Ansu added a third goal after Ibrahim Danlad failed to deal with a cross.

Both teams had an equal share of the possession in the first half, but Kotoko put up a lacklustre display in the second half, and Chelsea made the most of it.
Despite the defeat, Kotoko remain in fourth place on the league standings but could drop at the end of the matchday, while Chelsea move to 8th place with 37 points, just two points behind Kotoko.
