Ghanaian actress, Nikki Samonas, has stated that she is not under any pressure to get married or have children, explaining that both decisions are personal and require careful consideration and timing.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, she addressed questions about motherhood and marriage.

Now 40 years old, Nikki Samonas was asked why she does not have a child at her age. In response, she maintained that she is not pressured and prefers to take her time when it comes to decisions like childbirth.

When asked about childbirth and whether it was something she was focused on at the moment, she responded:

“Not really. If it comes fine, if it doesn’t fine. I am very fertile so I have to be even more careful. In my family, the ladies are very fertile so when you joke, you will take seed. So I am very careful, but it will come at the right time.”

She further questioned the perception surrounding motherhood, asking: “Childbirth is the gateway to heaven, is it?”

On the topic of companionship, Nikki Samonas explained that companionship should not be limited to having children, adding that emotional support can come from different sources.

“The type of companionship I need is not the baby type of companionship. Companionship can come from a family member, friends, a pet, and even a partner.”

Addressing marriage, she stressed that it is not simply about talk or societal expectations but about genuine commitment and peace of mind.
