‎A total of 61,506 candidates, comprising 45,157 males and 16,149 females, sat for the examinations, with 36,874 recording general passes.‎

‎The CTVET, in a statement signed by its Public Relations Unit, said the number of candidates represented an 11.23 per cent increase over the 55,295 candidates who sat for the examinations in 2025.‎

‎It said the general passes represented approximately 62.45 per cent of the total candidates who sat for the examinations.‎

‎The statement advised candidates to check their results online at https://examination.ctvet.gov.gh using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers provided on their index slips.‎

‎It said the Certificate II examinations comprised two components: Core Components—English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies and Entrepreneurship—and Elective Components covering Trade or Professional Area programmes.‎

‎The statement said the results of six candidates had been withheld pending further investigations into their involvement in various examination malpractices.‎

‎It said that the results of some other candidates had also been withheld due to administrative issues and would be released once the issues had been resolved.‎
