Daughters of Glorious Jesus to stage 2024 ‘Glorious Praise’ concert in Accra,Kwahu

Call us

Legendary Ghanaian gospel music group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, are back in concert this year.

The trio have etched their name into the minds and hearts of Ghanaians for three and half decades,  churning out back-to-back hits as well as soul-lifting songs that have transformed lives over the period.

For the past 14 years, they have, through their Annual Musical Concert dubbed Glorious Praise,  brought the people to within touching distance of their ministry, in their resolve to win souls and further advance the kingdom business.

However, since COVID-19 crept into our midst,  they have had to resort to virtual concerts from 2020 to 2023. To God be the glory,  Glorious Praise is back with a bang this year, to make up for all that we missed in the last three editions.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the concert is the fact that they will, through these concerts, be serving their teeming fans a triple dose of their timeless tunes as well as the customary energetic and life-transforming ministrations in Accra, Kwahu and Kumasi.

Speaking on the event, Cynthia, leader of the dynamic trio, said this year’s Glorious Praise is going to be one of the best concerts they’ve ever put together.

“We have carefully put together several artists who will join us on all the various stages in our quest to revive our spirits through music this year”, Cynthia said.

Edna stressed their decision to consider Kwahu this year. ”We noticed that Kwahu is the busiest place during the Easter holidays, but unfortunately, there aren’t enough, if any Gospel events during the season.

We shouldn’t forget that the reason for the season is to remember the death of our saviour, hence our decision to be in Kwahu on Easter Sunday for this year’s Glorious Praise.”

On her part, Monica revealed that this year’s program is dear to them because they have partnered with Breast Care International, to create awareness and raise funds to support some breast cancer patients, who can barely afford the treatment.

“We have embarked on several projects to help various communities, but as women, embarking on any project that directly affects women is dear to our hearts. We therefore call on all and sundry to join us when it’s time, to make this year’s Glorious Praise a memorable one.”* Monica added.

Accra will host the first concert in the series on 24th March, which happens to be Palm Sunday. Kwahu will have its share the following week on Easter Sunday, the 31st day of March 2024.

A fortnight later, the train moves to the capital of the Ashanti Region on 14th April for the Kumasi edition.
