Yolo star, Drogba, has expressed his confidence in Dr. Bawumia, stating that the Vice President made a promise to him and he trusts that it will be honoured.
The actor has been diagnosed with a demyelinating disease and has been seeking financial support for overseas medical treatment.
His plea caught the attention of Vice President Dr Bawumia, who visited him to offer support. Despite this, John Peasah revealed in an interview on Daybreak Hitz that he still requires a substantial amount of money for his treatment.
He gently reminded the public, including Dr Bawumia, of their promises to support him during this challenging time, hoping to secure the necessary funds for his medical care abroad.
“The problem now is I am not seeing any improvement, so I am reaching out to him. I know he is busy with his campaign but I’m trying to let him know that this is his promise to me.
“I am very grateful to him for coming to show support and honouring me in my home,” he said
He issued a pressing appeal for financial assistance to support his medical treatment for two rare conditions: Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder and GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia.
With his current treatments proving ineffective and his resources dwindling, Peasah took to Instagram on August 14, 2024, to share his urgent need for $280,000 to continue his care.
