Iconic gospel musician Sonnie Badu has alleged that Dr Kwaku Oteng refused to answer his calls after promising to sponsor his ‘Rhythms of Africa’ Concert held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Grand Arena, AICC.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, Sonnie Badu divulged that some prominent figures in the country disappointed him big time after promising to sponsor the show.

According to the ‘Baba’ crooner, “Dr Kweku Oteng did not answer my phone call after promising to sponsor the event”.
Dr Badu recalled helping Dr Oteng in diverse ways. He claimed to have honoured Dr Kwaku Oteng more than any person in Ghana as he reminisced about honouring him in Atlanta.
Sonnie Badu further clarified that he did not sell his Rolex watch to sponsor his concert.
