Dreams FC achieved a historic feat in their CAF Confederation Cup tournament after edging out Kallon FC 3-2 on aggregate in Sierra Leone to reach the group stage of the competition for the first time.

The debutants made their presence felt in the second leg, held on Saturday evening in the SDK Stadium, with Agyenim Boateng putting them ahead in the first half.

Solomon Agbesima was in top form in goal for Dreams FC, denying the hosts every opportunity with a series of great saves. The defensive line also played a key role in halting Kallon’s dangerous runs.

Dreams FC failed to replicate their strong first-half performance in the second half, allowing Kallon FC to equalize and tie the game at 1-1.

However, the Still Believers held onto their faith and matched the hosts to a stalemate, giving them the edge on aggregate thanks to their 2-1 victory in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
