Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Morrison has officially begun pre-season training with Sudanese giants Al Merrikh SC following his recent move to the club.
The 25-year-old reported for training with his new teammates as preparations got underway for the 2026/27 campaign, marking the start of a new chapter in his career after completing his transfer from Kenyan champions Gor Mahia.
Morrison joined Al Merrikh on a long-term contract running until 2029 after enjoying a memorable spell in Kenya, where he played a key role in Gor Mahia’s Premier League title-winning campaign.
His outstanding performances last season saw him crowned the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year while also picking up the Best Midfielder award after establishing himself as one of the league’s standout performers.
The former Asante Kotoko and King Faisal midfielder is expected to play an important role for Al Merrikh as the Sudanese giants prepare for the new domestic season and continental assignments.
With pre-season now underway, Morrison will be hoping to quickly settle into his new environment and carry his impressive form from Kenya into Sudan as he embarks on the next stage of his career.
