The founder of the Paradise Chapel Ministry International, Pastor Ernest Morrison Quansah, has warned political parties in the country, particularly the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from engaging in politics of personal attack and insults, so as not to create an avenue for conflict, at a time that the country is heading towards a period of major general elections.
He has also called on the various religious sects in the country not to relent on their oars, but continue to preach peace before, during, and after the elections.
Pastor Ernest Morrison Quansah gave this admonishing at the 2nd Anniversary celebration and Thanks Giving Service of the Church at Gomoa Beseadze in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region.
Addressing the event, Pastor Quansah again condemned the situation where politicians try to politicize sensitive social issues such as health, education, and social development for their parochial interest to gain political favor.
He said such a posture turns to draw the development of the country backward and has therefore warned the various political leaders to desist from the practice.
