The first of its kind Accra Art and Craft Market, the international edition, which aims at developing and expanding the exporter base, has outlined activities tailored towards achieving the set goal.
“Over the period, we have grown to have about 100 vendors who register with the market on Saturday of every month. We have had various partners over time, Du Bois has been a great partner since inception,”a statement delivered by the Manager indicated.
At a brief but significant event seeking to highlight plans put in place to assist vendors upscale their businesses to become exporters, the Manager of the event, Mr. Adnan Mohammed underscored the benefits that will derived.
The ten(10) day event which will start from Accra is expected to end in the Upper East and West Regions.
Though being the seventh(7th) edition of the Arts and Craft Market, the international market edition has been an addition with prospects of growing the vendor base.
The organizers have pledged their commitment to ensuring success that will transcend beyond the first edition.
Mr. Adnan Mohammed explained that the 10-day exhibition will be interspersed with cultural experiences, from dance and music to storytelling, and this will happen every 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the period.
In addition, a programme named, “Around In Ghana In 10 Days is also going to be another dossier of cultural display.
In conclusion, the manager of the programme is looking forward to creating signages between the various vendors and being able to take advantage of the plethora of activities lineup.
