Former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Kwame Baah has signed for South African club The Bees FC on a one-year deal, with an option to extend for an additional season.The 28-year-old goalkeeper joins the Motsepe Foundation Championship side as a free agent, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the Ghana Premier League and international football.Baah, born on April 21, 1998, in Accra, began his professional career with Heart of Lions in the Ghanaian Division One League before moving to Inter Allies FC.. In the summer of 2019, he joined Asante Kotoko, where he established himself as a key figure between the posts.During his time at Kotoko, Baah played a crucial role in the club’s 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title-winning campaign. He also featured in the CAF Champions League, making two appearances and playing 180 minutes in the competition.Baah has represented Ghana at the U-20 and U-23 levels, earning five caps for the U-23 national team.After leaving Kotoko in 2023, Baah had stints with ASAS of Djibouti and was without a club for a period.
