Former Asante Kotoko supporters leader, Kwaku Amponsah has backed the Interim Management Committees (IMC) decision to sever ties with coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.Ogum, considered as one of the best coaches domestically was relieved of his duties on Monday following back-to-back defeat in the Ghana Premier League.Asante Kotoko succumbed to a 3-0 away defeat to Accra Lions, followed by a 2-0 loss to Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.In a significant reshuffle, the Porcupine Warriors has settled on Abdul Karim Zito to lead the team as the acting head coach until a permanent head coach is appointed.Speaking to Lawson FM, as followed by GHANAsoccernet.com, Kwaku Amponsah disclosed he has no qualms with management over the decision to sack Ogum.The truth is one. It’s best to part ways when things are not going as expected. We believed in Ogum and allowed him to continue this season despite our struggles last term, but it appears nothing changed under him. We as supporters are in full support of Ogums sacking he said.Karim Zito faces a daunting task in his first game as the Porcupine Warriors takes on Aduana Football Club this weekend.
