Four students from Ghana have recorded outstanding results in the Strategic Case Study Exam, the final capstone assessment of the globally recognised Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) Professional Qualification, placing them among high-performing students worldwide.
Frederick Kwasi Darteh, Samuel Nyarko, Mohammed Amin and Richmond Attuah, who studied through Aspire Executive Institute, all scored above 100 out of a possible 150 in the exam.
Their performance marks a significant milestone in their journey towards earning the CGMA designation and becoming members of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Commenting on the achievement, Paul Aninakwah, ACMA, CGMA, Country Director – Ghana at CIMA, said:
“Scoring above 100 in the Strategic Case Study exam is an exceptional result. It demonstrates not only strong technical competence, but also the strategic thinking, professional judgement and leadership capability that employers seek. Congratulations to Frederick, Samuel, Mohammed and Richmond – it’s great to see such strong finance talent from Ghana.”
Dr Sigmund Yevugah, Managing Consultant at Aspire Executive Institute, added:
“We are delighted with the results achieved by Frederick, Samuel, Mohammed and Richmond. Their performance reflects hard work, focus and consistency, and we wish them every success as they continue their journey towards becoming CGMA qualified.”
The CGMA Professional Qualification is recognised worldwide and is designed to shape finance professionals who not only understand the numbers but also help businesses make strategic decisions and drive long-term performance.
The qualification is structured across three levels – Operational, Management and Strategic – each designed to build and deepen capability as students advance in responsibility and complexity. Each level culminates in a Case Study Exam, which requires CGMA students to apply their technical knowledge, alongside their business, people, and leadership skills to real‑world business scenarios.
Through this structure, the qualification supports employability by equipping students with the skills and professional mindset that employers value across business and finance roles.
