The prestigious Africa Cinema Summit (ACS) continued its second edition at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
Following the high-profile opening day featuring British actor Idris Elba, Day 2 welcomed the presence of the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
Accompanying the Ga Mantse who served as the guest of honour was Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Creative Arts, and Culture, Mr Andrew Egyapa Mercer, along with the Tourism Minister for Rwanda and industry leaders from across Africa, including celebrated Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afoloyan.
The summit, organized by Ghana’s National Film Authority (NFA), has attracted a global audience, including executives from the African diaspora and representatives from investment bodies like Afreximbank and IFC.
This four-day event, concluding on Thursday, October 10, aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within the African film industry.
