George Afriyie signs Christian Atsu’s book of condolence as he mourns with family of late Newcastle United star — Ghana Sports Online

Former Ghana FA Vice President, George Afriyie, was at the residence of the late Black Stars attacker to mourn with his family and sign his book of condolence.

Atsu, 31, was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023, after his lifeless body was recovered from the rubbles of the disastrous 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey.

Afriyie, who was among the Ghana officials who accompanied Atsu’s body from Turkey to Ghana last Sunday, was at the residence of the footballer to sign his condolence book and express his respect for the departed attacker.
