The Ghana Football Association, GFA, have failed to publish the list of players travelling with the Ghana U20 side, Black Satellites, for a tournament in the Ivory Coast.
Football followers in the West African nation have bitterly complained about favouritism in player selection to various national teams in the country.
The performance of the U23 side in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualification series mounted more pressure on the GFA as more allegations surfaced about nepotism in player selection.
However, in a latest move that has shocked Ghanaian fans, the GFA failed to release the list of players travelling for the tournament in the Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that 4 Dreams FC players have been included in the squad and the GFA is dodging public backlash by opting not to publish the name.
The players are Ofori McCarthy, an 18-year-old Dreams FC midfielder together with Collins Boah, Gideon Aseako and Still Believe FC’s Aziz Misbawu.
