Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz believes Ghana and Cote dIvoire possess similar qualities ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash in Bouake.The two West African sides will meet on Thursday in their opening Group C fixture in Bouake, with both teams boasting players capable of influencing the game in attack.Queiroz acknowledged the quality within the Ivorian squad but believes Ghana have similar attributes and can match the hosts.Cote dIvoire have players with a lot of power, creativity, [and] skill, who like to play attacking football, Queiroz said.I can say the same thing about these qualities for Ghana.The Portuguese coach is preparing Ghana for his first competitive match since returning for a second spell in charge of the Black Stars.Ghana have been forced to make several changes to their squad ahead of the game, with key players including Mohammed Kudus and Antoine Semenyo unavailable.Despite the absences, Queiroz is confident in the quality available to him as Ghana seek a positive start to their qualification campaign.The Black Stars will return to Accra after Thursday’s match to host The Gambia on September 27.
