The Managing Director of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited has disclosed that the company is investing 1.5 million euros in new security printing equipment as part of efforts to expand its production capacity and strengthen its security printing operations.
Speaking at the Government Accountability Series at the Presidency in Accra, Mr. Boaitey said the equipment was expected to arrive soon and would enable the company to undertake more specialised printing assignments, including chequebooks and other security documents.
Mr Boaitey said the investment formed part of a broader modernisation programme aimed at improving the company’s technology and production capabilities.
He also highlighted the acquisition of a digital press, which was inaugurated by President John Dramani Mahama in January 2026.
The Managing Director said the company was positioning itself to compete more effectively in the printing industry through investments in modern equipment and improved production processes.
