The Ghana Taekwondo Federation is holding its executive elections today, with delegates voting to elect officials who will steer the affairs of the sport for the next term.
Several candidates are contesting various executive positions, including incumbent president Frederick Lartey Otu, who is seeking re-election after completing his current tenure.
The election has attracted officials, delegates, and stakeholders from across the country, with keen interest in the outcome as the federation looks to strengthen the development and promotion of taekwondo in Ghana.
Voting is currently underway, with delegates casting ballots for the various positions on the federation’s executive board. The process is expected to determine the leadership that will oversee the implementation of key development programmes and the growth of the sport nationwide.
