Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah buzzing after scoring first Crystal Palace goal in EFL Cup victory

England striker of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah was over the moon on Tuesday night, after helping Crystal Palace to reach Round 4 of the EFL Cup in England.

The talented striker featured for the Eagles in their Round 3 clash against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the EFL Cup.

In a game played at Loftus Road, Eddie Nketiah impressed in his role and broke the game’s deadlock in the first half.

He scored with a fine strike in the 16th minute to give Crystal Palace the lead and have an advantage at halftime.

That goal inspired Crystal Palace to secure a delightful 2-1 win against QPR to advance to the next round of the EFL Cup.

Speaking in a video message to Crystal Palace fans, Eddie Nketiah shared his excitement, stressing that he is elated that the club is through to the next round.

“Buzzing to get my first goal for Palace, delighted to be in the next round. Let’s go boys,” Eddie Nketiah stated in the video shared on the X page of Crystal Palace.
