Ghanaian lower-tier club, Tudu Mighty Jets have secured their first international title after triumphing in the Iber Cup held in Portugal.
The Ghana Division Two outfit defeated Portuguese side URD Tires to clinch the title in a highly competitive game.
Mighty Jets inflicted a 3-1 win over their opponent to emerge as winners in the Iber Cup.
Goals from Usmanu Ghanyu, Ibrahim Dawud, and Obed Wiredu were enough for the Ghanaian club to secure the trophy.
Mighty Jets opened the scoring through Ibrahim Dawud after just 19 minutes into the game before Ghanyu doubled the advantage for the Ghanaian club in the 49th minute after capitalizing on a URD Tires mistake.
Despite a determined second-half effort from the Portuguese team, they only managed a consolation goal through Tiago Jorge Fonte
Wiredu sealed the victory with the third goal, crowning Tudu Mighty Jets as champions.
Mighty Jets were just amazing in the competition after racking up 20 goals and conceding only three goals throughout the tournament held in the European country.
