Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea to officiate CAF Champions League clash between Simba SC and Jwaneng Galaxy FC

Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has been selected as the center official for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Champions League match between Tanzanian giants Simba SC and Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy FC.

The highly anticipated clash is set to take place in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Laryea, who recently officiated at the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nation in Cote D’Ivoire will be assisted by Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey (Assistant I), Roland Nii Dodoo Addy (Assistant II), and Charles Benle Bulu (Fourth Official).

Also in the list of officials are Angesom Ogbamariam from Eritrea, Commissioner Evarist Menkouande Referee Assessor from Cameroon, Timothy Mazhindu, a General Coordinator from Zimbabwe and Humphrey Tlhobelo, Security Officer from South Africa.

Simba SC, one of Tanzania’s most successful clubs, will be looking to assert their dominance on home turf and secure a vital victory to boost their chances of advancing in the tournament. Meanwhile, Jwaneng Galaxy FC, representing Botswana, will be eager to upset the odds and make a statement against their formidable opponents.

The TotalEnergies CAF Champions League clash will take place at the national stadium in Dar Es Salaam 19H00 on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
