Ghana’s Men’s Relay team has qualified for the Paris Olympic Games after winning their heat in the Bahamas at the World Athletics Relay.
Ghana’s 4x100m athletes split times were Fuseini – 10.69, Botsio – 9.13, Azamati – 9.35, and Joe Paul – 9.12.
38.29s is a Season’s Best (SB) for Team Ghana.
Ghana was in Lane 6 for the 4x100m relay repechage.
This qualifies them for the Olympic Games they have been yearning for all year.
They qualified alongside Nigeria who came second in the heat. South Africa Africa has also qualified after winning their heat.
Liberia will join South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria for this year’s Olympic Games.
