Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has praised her former label boss, Bullet, for his consistent support, describing him as someone who “understood everybody’s journey.”
Speaking in an interview with Kafui Dey, she said Bullet never made me feel less of herself and always believed in her potential, even at a time when others doubted her.
“I am always grateful to Bullet for always being that person who understood everybody’s journey; he never made me feel less of myself. he always saw the bigger picture, always saw who i was even though people called him and told him he should forget me” she said.
Wendy Shay added that despite calls from industry figures urging him to drop her, Bullet remained firm in his belief. According to her, his decision to focus on purpose rather than pressure played a key role in her development.
An industry gatekeeper told Bullet @wendyshaygh was not going to make it, in her presence.
Guess what the same person said after she became successful.
