The mobile money vendor who a Ghanaian police officer robbed, identified as Bright Appiah Dankwah, has finally shared her side of the story, giving a blow-by-blow account of what really happened.

Speaking in a viral audio, the lady, whose identity cannot be revealed, revealed that she was at work as usual, when a man on a motorbike came there for a transaction.

She shared that the man upon his arrival requested her number with claims that he wanted someone to send money via her number, so that if possible, he could withdraw it.

The lady claims she responded that instead of giving her contact information, the person should allow cash out so that she could withdraw the money via that method, a method she thought was safe and okay.

After they had finished communicating, the victim shared that she entered her shop for other activities, but to her surprise, the man came into the shop, pulled a gun at her, and requested that she bring out all the money she had on her.

Being frightened, the lady revealed that she gave out all the money she had made in the day which was 38kCedis since her life was more important to her than the money.

She stated in furtherance that after she had given him the money, he requested proof that indeed, she had given out all the money she had and threatened not to kill only her, but her child too.

She added that “I gave him all the money I had made which was 38k Cedis. He asked me to open it and bring more if there was any. He threatened to kill my child and me. In fact, I urinated on myself”.
