Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have pulled the plugs off their interest in signing midfielder David Abagna Sandan from Real Tamale United (RTU), according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
Abagna, 24, becomes a free agent at the end of the 2022/23 season and could join the Phobians for free.
Meanwhile, RTU are demanding a $200,000 transfer fee – an astronomical demand that has put off the capital, causing them to end their interest in the player.

According to Pure FM, the Phobians offered something within the region of $50,000 which has been turned down by the Pride of the North.
RTU are hoping that the former AshantiGold midfielder would enjoy a perfect tournament at the 2023 CHAN tournament in Algeria which could see his market value rise.
