A house party descended into chaos after more than 15 guests tested positive for HIV during a Truth or Dare game, according to a man who shared the experience in a viral video on social media.
The man said about 25 to 30 people attended the party, which was organised by a friend.
According to him, the event was initially lively, with guests drinking, partying and engaging in various activities.
He said the group later decided to play Truth or Dare, with participants either taking a drink or sending money to the celebrant when they refused a dare.
According to the man, one woman was asked to choose between truth and dare before daring everyone at the party to take an HIV test.
The challenge reportedly surprised the guests until the woman brought out more than 50 HIV test kits, explaining that she had enough kits for everyone.
The man said the woman insisted on HIV testing because she wanted to know the status of anyone she might become intimate with.
She reportedly organised the testing, with guests taking turns to provide samples and wait for their results.
The man claimed that after about five minutes, the results began to appear.
According to his account, more than 15 people reportedly tested positive, including several women and men.
He said the discovery triggered panic, with some guests crying, shouting and calling other people out over their alleged sexual relationships.
He also claimed that a man and his girlfriend both received positive results. According to him, another man who was reportedly involved with the woman also tested positive.
The man said some guests immediately began arranging rides to leave the party, while others remained shocked by the unexpected turn of events.
He added that he was among those who reportedly tested negative and remained at the venue as the situation unfolded.
