Ghanaian broadcaster and General Manager of 3Music TV, Jay Foley, has disclosed that he has returned to music production after taking a long break from the craft.
The media personality made the revelation during a conversation with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, where he confirmed that he resumed production towards the end of 2025 and is currently working on a special project featuring some of Ghana’s popular artistes.
According to Jay Foley, the upcoming project will be a collection of his own productions and will serve as a personal celebration of his journey and contributions to Ghana’s music industry.
“It was just about late last year that I got myself back to music production. I’ve got something I am working on. Works like my own productions, like music that I have produced. I put a number of popular artistes that I am about to roll out, a special EP just to say ‘thank you’ to myself,” he said.
Jay Foley explained that returning to production rekindled his passion for creating music, admitting that he missed the creative process after being away from it for several years. He added that the project will be released soon, urging music lovers to look forward to what he has been working on.
“I missed it because people who know me from times past know that I am a producer and I let it go for a couple of years so I went back to it and I am like ‘wow I miss this’. I am about to drop an EP, so watch out,” he emphasized.
When asked if he would feature his own vocals on the project, the producer clarified that his focus remains on production, stressing that the project is about showcasing his work as a producer.
