Entrepreneur and owner of Bills Micro-Credit, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has opened up about his inspiring journey from hardship to success, crediting his mother as the driving force behind his current achievements.
Speaking in a viral video spotted by GhanaWeekend on his social media page, Richard disclosed that he grew up in a single room in Korle Gonno with his mother and sister, surviving with just a ceiling fan and a small TV set.
Despite the struggles, he disclosed that his mother remained his biggest source of motivation and inspiration.
“My mother would always tell me, ‘My son, I’m counting on you to take us out of this situation. If you want me to live long and stay by your side, then change our story,” he recalled.
Richard Nii Armah Quaye said those words became his source of inspiration, pushing him to work hard and break through the cycle of poverty.
