Ghanaian actress Gladys Mensah Boaku, popularly known as Nayas, recently shared her past struggles in Germany on Emelia Brobbey’s show, “Okukusekuthetalkshow.”
She highlighted the misconception that life abroad is always easy. Nayas recounted how, despite her expectations, she faced financial difficulties in Germany.
She mentioned that she could only afford one bra, which she had to wear to work whether it was dry or not after washing it.
In contrast, when she was in Ghana, she could afford whatever she wanted and was never considered stingy by those around her. This experience was a stark reminder of the challenges she faced abroad compared to her life in Ghana.
