Kelvyn Boy born Kelvyn Brown has revealed in an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty that he is now living in a three-bedroom house he built for himself and his family.
He proudly stated, “I constructed my own house, and that’s where I stay with my family.”
The former Burniton Music Group (BMG) artist also mentioned that he owns several other properties across Accra but chooses not to flaunt them. “I have other properties in Accra, but I don’t feel the need to show off like others do.
“I prefer to keep things low-key,” he explained, highlighting his humility.
When asked about his daily routine, particularly in the mornings, Kelvyn Boy shared his hands-on approach with his children.
“I make sure my kids are well taken care of every morning. I play a very active role in their lives,” he noted, underlining his dedication to his family.
Reflecting on his career and relationship with Stonebwoy, Kelvyn Boy opened up about his attempts to reconcile with his former mentor. “I’ve tried to make peace with Stonebwoy, but it hasn’t worked out,” he admitted, acknowledging the unresolved tension between them despite his efforts.
The relationship between Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy soured after a series of events that led to Kelvyn Boy’s exit from Burniton Music Group (BMG), Stonebwoy’s record label, in 2019.
The tension reportedly began when Kelvyn Boy was accused of being ungrateful to Stonebwoy, who had mentored and helped him rise in the music industry.
There were claims that Kelvyn Boy failed to show appreciation for the opportunities and support Stonebwoy provided during his time with BMG.
This tension was further fueled by rumors that Kelvyn Boy was distancing himself from Stonebwoy and trying to build his brand without giving due credit to his mentor.
After Kelvyn Boy departed from BMG, there was a public falling out between the two artists, with Stonebwoy making it clear that Kelvyn Boy was no longer part of the label.
