Ghanaian rapper D-Black has expressed his frustration with the high cost of living in the country. He is furious about the latest round of taxation, which he blames for the sudden spike in costs.
D-Black was one of the numerous Ghanaian celebrities who endorsed the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in the run-up to the 2016 elections.
He was particularly impressed by the party’s promise to abolish taxes, which he believed would make life easier for Ghanaians.
However, the multiple-award-winning rapper now says that he regrets his decision to support the NPP. The rapper said that President Akufo-Addo and Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta swayed his mind and the minds of many people with their promise to abolish taxes.
