Businessman and Chief Executive Officer of the defunct UT bank, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, has revealed that he used the same watch, car, and shoes for over 20 years.
The former CEO was speaking in an interview with renowned media personality Bola Ray, where he highlighted his unique lifestyle choices and financial decisions, which informed his assertion that he had worn the same shoe and watch for over two decades.
Mr. Amoabeng disclosed that he had also worn his previous watch for over the same number of years prior to becoming an ambassador for Caveman Watches.
He added that he started changing his watches following the ambassadorial deal with the leading Ghanaian-made Caveman watches.
Giving some financial guidance, he revealed that he led an extravagant lifestyle as the CEO of the now-defunct UT Bank. He claimed that buying a home with ten bedrooms was his worst financial choice.
Mr. Amoabeng said that he had no money and was forced to sell the mansion after losing the bank.
“When you have money, a lot of people gravitate towards you. It’s hard to tell who your real friends are, and that’s confusing,” he told Bola Ray in the interview.
