Renowned contemporary gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, widely recognized as MOG Music, has opted not to disclose his stance on the anti-LGBTQ+ bill.

While it’s often expected for religious figures to openly support such legislation, MOG Music took a different approach during an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz.

Despite societal expectations, the gospel singer and pastor refrained from expressing his position on the matter, citing concerns about potentially compromising his brand.

“I’ll just play the fifth. I’m saying this to protect my brand. Because if I say “for”, people will talk, if I say “against”, people will talk. I’ll just be in the middle. I can only disclose what I stand for in private. But for now, I’ll play the fifth ” he said.
