Popular Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon has spoken out against dancehall artist Shatta Wale after he criticized fellow musicians Black Sherif and Sarkodie. In several social media posts and videos, Sheldon expressed his disagreement with Shatta Wale’s comments, saying they were unnecessary and harmful.
Shatta Wale had made negative remarks about Black Sherif’s fashion choices. He also compared Black Sherif to Nigerian musician Asake, suggesting that Black Sherif’s style was confusing. Additionally, Shatta Wale criticized Sarkodie, claiming that his spending on music videos was a waste and that he should invest in real estate instead.
In response, Kwadwo Sheldon called out Shatta Wale for his harsh words, stating that they hurt the unity of the Ghanaian music industry.
“Shatta Wale, do you dress better than Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, or Sarkodie? Are you richer than any of them? If you want to be untouchable, then don’t talk about others. Sarkodie has never mentioned your name; it was Stonebwoy who wished you a happy birthday, trying to be nice. If he hadn’t, you wouldn’t have replied. Don’t sit on a podcast and talk about people, then get upset when they respond. I’m not here to insult you. Our past conflicts have been intense, you even told your fans to come for me, but I want you to know that I’m not afraid, bro,” Kwadwo Sheldon said.
